plastic ready for powder coating

Powder Coating Plastic

There are many different types of plastics that can be successfully coated with UV-curable powder coatings. Each type of plastic has different properties, meaning some will coat better than others. Please contact us to determine if your plastic can be coated.

UV-cured powder coating works on plastic because the time to melt the powder is short and the temperatures used are low. Most plastics are non-conductive in nature and may require a primer to make them suitable for electrostatic powder coating.

Our chemists will work with you to formulate a functional coating for your plastic material. The more information initially provided about the properties of the plastic the better.

Fill out our Finish Requirements Form if you have an existing project you feel UV powder could be a fit for.
